Redesign
For this project, I did a redesign of Cramer's utility cart. the goal was to improve the functionality of the existing cart.
Initial Exploration
The project began by exploring the pains and wishes of using a common wheelbarrow, the product from which our utility cart stems from.
Then it followed by defining the user of the utility cart and their needs.
Three general directions for the product where identified:
Direction 1: Minor modifications to the existing cart leaning towards heavy duty look, adding accessories to attend to all user needs.
Direction 2: Modify the cart to make it more agile and versatile.
Direction 3: Design a new utility cart that can be used in landscaping, adding the functions of a manual forklift.
